Daily Activities include but are not limited to:

  • Riding sessions
  • General horse care including proper grooming, feeding and health care
  • Learning to drive a horse
  • Anatomy and terminology associated with horses
  • Equipment and tack
  • Horse handling and leading
  • Scrapbook

To ensure everyone has a great time and is safe several levels of camp are offered.

Welcome to our 2018 Camp Season. Our horsemanship camps teach campers about the horse from the ground up and safety is our first priority. Our camps are instructed in an entirely hands-on format allowing our campers to learn to appreciate all different aspects of the horse.  Our instructors are experienced horsemen with years of horse experience and knowledge. We also have a ratio of 5 campers per instructor/counselor. In addition we require all campers to wear a certified safety helmet while riding and driving. These helmets are provided. Along with qualified instructors, the equine staff is composed of seasoned veterans that were selected because of their pleasant and willing attitudes. These kind animals exhibit endless patience as many campers take their first riding lessons.
